Who’s the Real You?
Do you know who you really are? This is a question that you probably have not been asked in a while, if ever at all. Have you considered who you really are? When asked this question many people say things such as, ” I’m a businessman, I’m a homemaker, I’m a coach, I’m a husband, I’m a wife,” or even “I’m a Christian”. These may be things you do, but if you are born again you are actually a son or daughter of the living God. That is who you are! Although everyone is different and has a unique personality, everyone should know that being a son or daughter of God is the foundation for their existence.
Failure isn’t Forever
I deal with many adults who have diseases from the fear of failing others, performance, and perfectionism.
Some people spend their entire life trying to make everyone else happy and make no allowance for weakness or failure in themselves. They think to admit weakness or failure would mean that they failed. However, that’s a deceptive form of entrapment where our value is based on how good we are and how well we do. The enemy tells these individuals there is no allowance for weakness or failure because that might mean they won’t be loved or accepted if they didn’t handle or respond to something perfectly.
You the Servant
I want to make sure that you have the tools to be awake spiritually. Many Christians are just walking through life blind. Oh, they are going to heaven alright. The Bible promises heaven, eternal life, foretells of the Lord’s millennium reign, and promises of the eternal new heavens and new earth, but 98% of this Bible has to do with this planet and the how the people who live in it should conduct themselves.Â
True Test of Spirituality
How does God operate on earth? Through you! How does Satan operate in this planet? Through you! Reality check time. A true test of your spirituality is found in Hebrews.
13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:13-14
Don’t Answer Too Fast!
I want to ask everyone a question. Do you really hate sin? Now, for believers, the first answer is, of course, “I hate sin.”
Now, some of you may know that you do not hate sin the way you need to.  There is not one person who can say, “yes, I totally hate sin,” because you are still entangled with the sin within. You cannot say you totally hate it because the enemy will come to accuse and condemn you and tell you that you really do like sin.
So what should the answer be for an overcomer?
Speak Life
Be strong and very courageous that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded thee. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left. Why? Why do you need to follow the Word of God? That you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; didn’t say heart, didn’t say soul, it said mouth? Why? Because the Bible says out of the heart – out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.
Is Someone or Something Getting Under Your Skin?
We are all familiar with the common bodily reactions when anger is present.  The face flushes, heart pounds, a possible headache and you get an adrenaline rush of the wrong kind. Fear prefers to run another physical route. Shakes, palpitations, cramps, dizzy… and the list goes on. What is the source of all these physical manifestation? Your spirituality.
You Can Overcome!
The Word says that anything that will not stand the test of fire will be burnt up. So you can count on all the works of the flesh not making it into heaven. The works of the flesh don’t exist in God’s kingdom! You can forget about strife ruling in heaven. You can forget about anger dominating in heaven. You can forget about lust governing in heaven. You can forget about fear reigning in heaven. They never have and they never will.
Keys to Successful Relationships
My position is for all victims to be removed immediately until someone decides where their treasure is.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Luke 12:34
This is true whether the victim is an friend, husband, wife or the child. We are not going to play games with victimization. The tragedy is just too high a price to pay. If we had taken a stand at this level against victimization a long time ago, we would not have the tragedies and post traumatic issues it is causing today. You cannot go back into a victimization situation in the name of love. It is codependent. It is further victimization. It is built-in guilt and you will not be able to have your peace. No one is spiritually strong enough to be a door mat for this type of thing and survive it for long. Remember my definition of codependency? Calling evil good in the name of love.
