It is good to praise God; it brings you out of yourself. Our enemy gets us spending so much time having conversations and debates with ourselves that it leads to an unhealthy perspective on life. It is spiritually healthy to reach out of yourself and come to God – pursue Him and what is on His heart. You need to talk honestly to Him and quit murmuring and complaining. Some of you need to break self-pity as fast as you can. You need to meditate on those things that are pure and profitable and of good report. You need to spend more time remembering the good things your Father has done for you and repent of the things that accuse Him of the things you do not think He’s done for you.
You will find that God is not far from you; He is available to you more than you can imagine. Sometimes because we can’t see our Father with our physical eyes, we act like He’s not there. He’s there. If He knows the thoughts of your heart, He’s there.
In Psalm 94:11, the LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, but are you initiating with Him a relationship built on walking and sharing them with Him?
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. – Matthew 10:29-31
If He sees and cares that the sparrow that falls to the ground, He’s there for your heart if you will share it with Him.
I want to invite you to become more aware of the living God and not live according to your perspective that maybe mixed with error or iniquity. I want to encourage you to continue to develop a relationship with God. It is by faith. You must believe that God is, and He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek after Him.
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. – Hebrews 11:6 KJV
It pleases the Father, as it would any loving parent who is honored by their child, to see that your heart is soft toward Him. The devil will never tempt you to be soft, pliable, and humble toward your Father. So come out of the ‘disconnect’ of a religious spirits. Your spiritual journey depends on your loving humility of your Father, which will naturally express as an overflow of gratitude from your heart in response back to Him. Bless yourself today by blessing your Father in everything.
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall] continually [be] in my mouth. – Psalm 34:1
