A Journey With a Promise

Just because God delivers you in an area of your life doesn’t mean you know how to walk in freedom in that area. When you are walking into your victory, three steps forward and two steps back is still having a good day. However, the enemy accuses you of the two back steps, tempts you with a pile of guilt so you will lose the one-step forward as well. If God has given you a victory, it’s yours even if you fall back in two other areas, pull yourself back onto the highway of life and start moving ahead again. Know where you are headed. The enemy can cause disease in your life by capturing your spirituality and making you one with you psychology.

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Thessalonians 5:23

Any thought you have that doesn’t match God’s Word is a form of insanity.  It is amazing we get along as well as we do!  The scripture in 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us what we have to do when we don’t have the “mind of Christ.”

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. – 2 Corinthians 10:5-6

When we don’t have the mind of Christ, we have the mind of sin. Once change and healing has taken place, you need to meditate on what you have heard from the Word of God that made the difference!  Your choice to steep your mind in the truth will make you free. Bank God’s truth in your heart by ruminating on it day and night.

When this evil thing speaks to you saying, “You’re not going to make it tomorrow,” you speak forth in your mind, or out loud, “For it is written, God can take care of me. I will work with His Spirit and His Word.  He attends to the flowers, looks after the sparrows, and took care of His own Son. I’m greater than the sparrows and the flowers, and I believe He takes care of me.”

With this offensive approach of relationship with the Father, you don’t go under this attack from fear of tomorrow. When you meditate on the Word of God, you are not susceptible to that lie anymore. Let everything visible and invisible know your declaration, because…

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. – Romans 10:10-11

Don’t be silent. Speak so that everything visible and invisible can know your intention. You say to fear, you say to bitterness, “Listen to my voice. I renounce everything you stand form in my life.” God doesn’t want you to have fellowship with the indwelling presence of sin that you may have just recognized in your life.

Your Father does not want to share you with devils because He knows they are dangerous to your spirituality, your sanity, and your health. He does not want to share you. Walk-out is a journey with a promise; it is like a bridge from where you were to where you are going. Tweet this!
