STAGE THREE: DELIVERANCE  

Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

You need the gifts operating at this point. The gifts are not there to replace knowledge and spiritual warfare. I have seen many people try to operate in gifts without these first two steps established in their life. Our minds must be subjected daily to God's way of thinking. Washing of water by the Word is necessary before, during and after deliverance from all indwelling sin because the enemy has programmed our minds.

Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

SANCTIFICATION

When something is being sanctified, there is smoke, friction and all kinds of stuff. The best thing that can happen is for it to surface so that it can be eliminated.

TIMED RELEASE IN SANCTIFICATION

When God saved me, He saw everything that was unsanctified. He also knew all about timed release. I had one of those timed release things come to me recently. The enemy showed up one day. When he came, I was ready for him. I came into a place of discernment and there was a "No Vacancy" sign hanging. I was able to separate his thoughts from my thoughts and the Word. So I lined up with the knowledge of God and declared the enemy's thoughts to be inferior. I chose to have the mind of Christ. You need to be taught how to walk as saints at this level.
