Jim and Audra Faulkner went to the Lake Charles, Louisiana, area August 21-23 to represent Be in Health™ at a Health Expo and put on a 2-day Conference.
On Thursday, August 21st, Jim and Audra Faulkner set up a booth at the Lake Charles Civic Center for the Young at Heart Health Expo sponsored by KPLC-TV. 2-3,000 people attended the Expo. Jim and Audra, assisted by local, long time 7000 Project™ Associates Ted and Sallie Garner, personally talked to over 200 people about Be in Health™ and the upcoming 2-day Conference. Some books and CD’s were sold at the Expo, but everyone took flyers and brochures about the conference and the ministry.
The 2-Day Conference started out Friday morning with ten 7000 Project™ Associates attending the training. The training included the following:
Setting up and running a book table.
A review of all the various books, CDs, and DVDs.
And how each product can be used to help folks personally and/or for home bible study groups.
The afternoon session continued with the completion of personal information forms, photographs, and a time of sharing what God has done through Be in Health™ for each person. It was during this time of personal sharing that we heard the wonderful news of Samantha Amos’s healing.
Samantha started getting sick 4-years ago. Her illness and the side effects from the pharmaceuticals given her meant that she had to quit her job as the Assistant Administrator of a major university. She saw over 30 different doctors and they eventually diagnosed her sickness as mental, not physical, and she spent 2-1/2 horrible weeks in a mental hospital. As a result, she became full of fear, house bound, and suicidal. Then she came to Be in Health™ for the For My Life™ Program.
Today she is almost completely well and she’s taking her life back. She made the trip from Lafayette to Lake Charles by herself, her first trip alone in over 4-years! She is very grateful for the love and ministry that Be in Health™ gave her.
The public conference, which began Friday night, was attended by about 50 people. The Conference was held at Living Waters Community Church in Sulphur, LA. Many people experienced revelation and freedom through the teaching and ministry. Ted Garner and another long time 7000 Project associate, Roger Cox assisted Jim and Audra with the teaching on Saturday.
One young woman in attendance, who is a journalist for the local newspaper, approached one of our 7000 Project™ Associates several days after the conference with a list of questions. She had written down every scripture reference that had been quoted throughout the Conference and looked up every one of them when she got home. After being at the conference, looking up the scriptures, and asking our 7000 Project™ Associate her questions; she said that she is convinced that Be in Health™ is correct and intends to become of doer of God’s Word!
A grandmother who attended the conference, learned the possible spiritual dynamics behind her grandson’s autism. She can now pray for God’s direction and discernment in sharing this information with her daughter and son-in-law.
Another one of our 7000 Project™ Associates shared how God healed her of lung cancer. Prior to the diagnosis, she had lost a son to an automobile accident. It was discovered that there was some foul play involved and the law enforcement authorities began to investigate. She did not feel that the authorities did a very thorough job and began to become resentful, angry, and bitter towards them. God showed her that it was the harboring of the bitterness that was giving the enemy a right to afflict her body with cancer. She repented to God and renounced Satan’s work in her life. When she became obedient to God and His Word, her body began to heal. She is free of lung cancer today and serving God with gratefulness and joy.
Reaching people on a personal level for God is the heart of this ministry. These are just some of the things God does when we come together to learn about Him, accept Him and do what He wants us to do.
