You must make your peace with God the Father. He is not a mean old man sitting on the throne mad at you. "But if He really loved me, I wouldn't be sick." Really? If you really loved Him, you wouldn't have committed sins that produced your disease unto sickness. Do you think He has to be holy, but you don't? I'm fighting for your life and I want the Kingdom of God working in your life.

If you never heard your earthly father say "I love you," there's a void on the inside of you. I hear people say, "Well I just knew that he loved me." How? Did he tell you? No. Did he show his affection? No. Did you feel special because he enforced it verbally? No. Did he abuse you? Did he emotionally abuse you? Did he ignore you? Did he verbally abuse you? Did he physically abuse you? Did he sexually abuse you? Or were you driven to meet a legalistic performance in which you couldn't survive, in performance and perfectionism trying to receive his love and approval. Did you face that? Then we wonder why we don't trust God.

Jesus said He came to show us the Father. As you read your Bible, keep in mind Jesus is revealing the Father to you. He will show you His love, His compassion, His mercy and how He has prepared a way for you to come to your Father and be at peace. You can know that your Father loves you.
