The third root behind cardiovascular disease is Anger, Rage and Resentment. The Bible says, "Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath" (Ephesians 4:26). There is a difference between righteous indignation and Anger coming out of Bitterness, Retaliation and Unforgiveness.

Many people in America today and in the Christian Church are plagued by Anger, Rage and Resentment. Sometimes it is explosive and visible. Other times it is latent, internal and deep, but nevertheless, it is still there.

The diseases coming out of unresolved Anger, Rage and Resentment include aneurysms. There is a thinning of the blood vessel wall which produces a bulging and occasionally an embolism or a bursting of that blood vessel, releasing blood into tissue. This is especially serious in brain tissue, because it destroys the brain cells.

Any time you have a bulging, ballooning, swelling or thinning of the walls of blood vessels, we have found unresolved Rage, Anger and Resentment behind it. Once in a while we run across someone who has a problem with spontaneous nosebleeds. That person is plagued with Rage, Anger and Resentment. Children can have frequent nosebleeds not related to anger.

Varicose veins (hemorrhoids too) are the result of unresolved Rage, Anger and Bitterness. There are other causes such as congenital disposition and heredity or injury in utero. Those do not have a spiritual root, but may be generational curses.
