Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:24-26 that Satan and his kingdom can bind a believer at the devil's will because of ignorance. It also says that in Isaiah 5:13. God said, Isaiah 5:13 My people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge, and hell hast enlarged herself.
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
You are not having "a heaven of a day" when hell hath enlarged herself against God's people. Hosea 4:6 says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Then it says, Because you have rejected knowledge. We have issues where people have rejected
knowledge.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
This opens up what I represent as a Pastor; which is instruction in righteousness. This so mankind can recover themselves from an
invisible kingdom which has taken them to the cleaners, making their lives miserable and full of poverty, disease and insanity. It's
not God's will that His people should be bound by the devil.
These verses are foundational to understanding the problem of sin and how to get free. They are not addressed to unbelievers or to
those who are not in covenant. They are addressed to New Testament, blood-bought saints who are not free.
When I start giving this knowledge to people in conferences, you can see the lights go on in them. It bears witness to them and healing already begins because they are coming into agreement with truth, maybe for the first time, because they have never seen it
that way. They are coming out of agreement with the enemy as they see how I am unfolding their lives before them.
Paul, in Romans 6, 7 and 8 talks to believers about the difference in being led by the Spirit of God or following the lust of the flesh. In
Romans 7 he said, in his members he had the law of God and the law of sin. That's a hard subject for many Christians to swallow
because we're acting like we're free, but we're still as goofy as a three dollar bill.
