Some two years ago I first injured my left leg and foot, breaking the bones in the instep and causing damage to the nerve plexus in my leg. The medical opinion was that there was very little that could be done without surgery and casting after the swelling had gone down. I decided to leave it alone as it worked, although it was somewhat painful. Then about two weeks later while purchasing a “solid core” door, I lifted the door to the counter at Home Depot to check out. It slipped and fell on my left foot, breaking the three toes on the outside of the foot causing them to be crooked up and misshapen. Again the remedy seemed to be worse than the malady so I chose not to have treatment. The disability was no greater than before. Many years before all of this, I had injured the large toe on this foot causing it to be immobile.

During the first day on my second visit to Pleasant Valley, the Lord spoke to me that He was going to reconstruct my foot and I shared that with the assembly. On Wednesday of the first week while in class about disliking one’s self, my foot began to heat up. I took off my shoe to see what was happening and the Lord was remolding my foot. The toes were straightened and the bones in my instep were healed and restored to normal. I also discovered that my big toe was functional! It had not moved in many years! Thank God the foot was back to normal. I could dance in the Lord and jump and praise Him on two feet again and all is well with that foot today. Isn’t our God Great?
