It has been my observation in years of ministry that less than 5% of Christians are being healed of incurable diseases through many of the scriptural principles that are taught, applied or methods of
Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:24-26 that Satan and his kingdom can bind a believer at the devil's will because of ignorance. It also says that in Isaiah 5:13. God said, Isaiah 5:13 My people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge, and hell hast enlarged herself.
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
When you anoint with oil, you are "doing" the Word. But even in those churches that believe God heals today, healing doesn't happen because those who are applying this as a spiritual application don't quote the rest of that verse. "And if they have committed any sins, they shall be forgiven."
If there is a spiritual sin issue behind high blood pressure, then address that sin issue; minister discipleship instead of healing.
When I asked God why He wasn't healing people through the ministry anymore I heard these words form in my heart: "Except for a few exceptions in the past 5-7 months, I haven't sent anyone to you to be healed. The devil sent them to you."
In the beginning of my ministry, God was healing everyone, but then for about 6 months, God healed less than five percent.
