Allergies Exposed

Welcome to our Weekly Blog

Allergies are such a common part of our modern world that we don’t even give them a second thought. In fact, if a Doctor were to tell us that we had a certain allergy to something most people would immediately adjust their eating habits or lifestyle in order to avoid that particular thing.

Our bodies are incredible responders to every thought that we have, regardless of how small. If we think to lift a finger, it lifts without skipping a beat. If we think to speak a word, it’s hard to stop it. But what happens to those internal thoughts that we don’t express in an outward manner?

These internal thoughts still trigger a hormonal or chemical response but often one that we are completely unaware of.

Let’s now put fear or what we more commonly call anxiety and stress in the spotlight:

We were designed with an intricate mechanism of response to dangerous situations. If a bear were to come at us while we were in the woods our brain would trigger various parts of our body’s systems that will result in the release of cortisol and adrenaline. These two hormones aid in suppressing certain functions of the body like digestion and the immune system and stimulating others like blood pressure so that we can put the extra energy towards fight or flight mode.

So, what happens if a person is in a prolonged state of stress or anxiety? What they get is something called a cortisol drip, it never stops being secreted which will result in a wearing down of the immune system and the digestive system.

What does this have to do with Allergies?

When your immune system has been compromised in this way it promotes an imbalance causing excessive B-cell activity. Things that are normally good for you may get flagged and targeted as an enemy to your body, and thus you have an allergic reaction.

Be in Health® is a front runner in the understanding of how allergies work and also how to overcome them. We’ve seen thousands of people completely healed from every type of allergy.

In order to overcome it’s essential to figure out who or what the actual enemy is. It’s not the food, plant, person, place or thing as we’ve been trained to believe. The enemy is fear. So although we may be reacting to these things, if the root issue can be resolved, your body’s immune system will have the chance to come back into balance and thus stop targeting things that aren’t actually your enemy.

The Word says in 1 John 4:18:

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18

So if we want to defeat fear we need to learn how to give and receive love. That perfect love that this scripture is referring to is something that cannot come from any human, but rather it comes directly from restoration of relationship and fellowship with Father God. Because God is love; that is His identity, He isn’t capable of being or doing anything other than that.

In addition to receiving love again, your fears must be driven out and your mind renewed. You’ve been trained to think, speak and act a certain way for a long time, maybe all the way down your generations so this is going to be a process of sifting through your thoughts and what you think you know and comparing them up to God’s Word and His truth.

Often times fear has come in as a result of victimization; someone who was supposed to love you and cover you didn’t or just didn’t know how. You need to realize that in order for you to get your freedom you need to be able to forgive your enemies and even pray for them. God can turn your heart to have compassion on a person for the torment that they suffer from that would cause them to behave the way that they have.

Finally, we must understand how to separate. Nope, that doesn’t mean throwing a person under the bridge, that means learning and understanding scriptures like Ephesians 6:12:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12

We need to recognize that the enemy has a devious plan to separate us from God, ourselves and others. He wants to bring fear and torment in order to keep us from being the person that God created us to be and in order to keep us from being able to live in the fullness of life that God intends for us.

This is Father God’s desire for you:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2

Blessings,
