Who’s Your Killer?

God’s not trying to kill you. Aren’t you glad for that!  He’s never tried to kill anyone, and I have a Scripture to prove it.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” – John 10:10

In the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught His disciples to pray to the Father, “Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) It is God’s will that you have life to the extreme on earth as it is in heaven.  God can’t be killing you and giving you extreme life at the same time.  Obviously, that’s crazy-making.

God is not evil; He’s not the author of evil. He’s the existence of all good. He wants all good things for you. Aren’t you glad God, your Father, made it possible for you to change to be like Him? Are you appreciative that He made it possible for you to come out of the prison house and enjoy life?

You can know there is life beyond your problems when you enjoy your relationship with God. Tweet this! If what you know is so great, yet it got you into a problem, then you need to know, there’s life beyond it, and that life is in God. He’s the only solution for your eternal life. He’s the Creator. He came through Jesus Christ that you might have life and have it more abundantly.  That is the truth. As His created son or daughter, it is your daily journey to apprehend the eternal gift that He, which He is the author.
